Personal Information This Website Collects

This website is a brochure website. It does not create user accounts, sell products, take payments or send newsletters. The only personal information involved is:

  • Enquiry details you submit through the quote form — your name, phone number, the service you select and your project details. When you press "Send via WhatsApp", your details are placed into a WhatsApp message on your own device and sent by you through WhatsApp. The website itself does not store these details.
  • Correspondence — if you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp directly, we keep that correspondence in our email account, on our business phone or in our WhatsApp business messaging.

How and Why We Use Your Information

We use the personal information you give us to:

  • respond to your enquiry and provide a quote;
  • arrange, discuss and carry out the landscaping work you ask about;
  • keep records of enquiries, quotes and completed jobs;
  • meet legal or insurance requirements that apply to our business.

We do not use your information for marketing lists, and we do not send marketing emails or texts from this website.

The Basis We Rely On

We process enquiry details because you have asked us for a quote — this is needed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. We keep and use correspondence and job records as part of running our business, which is our legitimate interest. If we ever need your consent for something specific, we will ask you for it directly and you can withdraw it at any time.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep enquiry and quote information for as long as needed to respond to you and to carry out any work you book. If you become a customer, we keep records of the work (including contact details and correspondence) for a reasonable business-record period after the job is finished, for warranty, insurance and accounting purposes, after which they are deleted or securely destroyed.

Who Your Information Is Shared With

We do not sell or rent personal information. It is shared only as follows:

  • WhatsApp (Meta) — the quote form opens WhatsApp on your device with your details pre-filled. When you send that message, it is delivered through WhatsApp, so Meta processes it under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Our website platform — this website is built and hosted on the Base44 (Wix) platform, which provides hosting and technical delivery of the site.
  • Google — the website's typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, and the service-area map is a Google Maps embed that loads only if you choose to load it. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Transfers Outside the UK

Some of the providers above (for example Meta and Google) may process personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers use, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, together with keeping the information we share to a minimum.

Your Rights

Under data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal information, to ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to ask us to provide it in a portable format. You can exercise any of these rights by contacting us at chdrivewayspropertydesign@gmail.com or on 07305 221747. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep personal information safe, including limiting who has access to our business phone, email and WhatsApp accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you should take care when sending personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the website or the law. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
